Anatoly Vsevolodovich Khlystov
biological information
Full Name: Anatoly Vsevolodovich Khlystov Nickname: Tolya, Tolik (family) Alias(es): Demon Knyaz (The Demon Prince), The Prince of Solomon, Shest’ Roge (Six Horns) Gender: Male Orientation: Bisexual Age: 17 Date of Birth: August 7 Marital Status: Single Place of Birth: Moscow Race: Magic User Occupation: Highschool Student
Physical Appearance: Tolya is a very handsome young man; he is described as having a cherub-like countenance, which belies under layers of seeming innocence a sprite-ish and mischievous persona. His features are soft, almost devoid of all sharp corners. He is very boyishly handsome and his near perpetual smile makes this even more apparent. Starting from the top, Tolya’s hair is what could be perfectly described as always being perfectly messy. He tends to have the habit of running his hand through his hair or fingering stray strands of his bangs over his face. His hair has a light brownish color, and curls near the ends particularly around his ears and on the nape of his neck. He does slick back his hair when the occasion calls for it.
Tolya has large dark colored eyes; they’ve been described as liquid and twinkling. The corners of his eyes always have a glint of knowing or that slight squint of mischief in them. However, when Tolya uses the eye that he stole from a demon, his right eye becomes lidded in flames, with single narrow slit of black for a pupil. Due to his human physiology trying to support a demonic eye, the veins and arteries bulge-out the side of his eye.
Another trademark of Tolya is his flawless teeth. This is actually a result of another stolen demonic ability. Tolya’s teeth are the perfect shade of brilliant white, almost as if they were made from ivory. They also shine as if polished, and Tolya can actually use them to refract light to stun people, or to concentrate sunlight to create fire should he want to. They’re shaped perfectly, all even and without any form of defect. Only Tolya knows why he stole this particular ability from a demon.
His build is that of a quite-strength. He stands at about six foot something and is quite proud about his above average height, mostly because he can use it to look down at others. He is lithe and slender, his muscles defined but not overtly large. This is due to a combination of genetics and a regular work-out befitting somebody who can perform stunts on a motorcycle.
In terms of the traditions of the Khlystov Bratva, members achieve tattoos when they fulfill specific tasks. Tolya has a tattoo of a rose on the left side of his chest, right beneath his collar bone, which he received when he first officially joined the Bratva. He also has six tattoos of demon horns three on either side of his spine to signify the demonic abilities he managed to steal and imbue. He also has the Khlystov crest, tattooed on the underside of his right pinky finger. And finally he has a tattoo of a skull on the knuckle of his right index finger to signify that he has already killed a man.
Tolyamir’s fashion sense also befits a true Mafioso background. He wears a lot of suits, but admits to enjoying wearing pinstripes. Since the Khlystov family hails from Russia, Tolya also does tend to wear clothes that have fur linings and traditional Russian clothes if the occasion can fit it. He can also be seen wearing his school uniform on weekdays. Out of school and out of “work”, Tolya wears only designer label clothes, but more or less dresses like a normal teenager belonging to the upper echelons of society. When skateboarding he does tend to prefer tank-tops or V-neck T shirts along with his shorts. For footwear he prefers loud and bright colored rubber shoes and sneakers. Tolya is also a motorbike enthusiast, and so can be seen dressed in the full gear of a professional motocross rider. His bike suite, comes in black and crimson, and gold, with the Khlystov crest on the back of his helmet.

special abilities
Powers: The Magic of King Solomon – The Khlystov family draws its immense strength from their being descendents of King Solomon. As such, they possess the brazen vessel containing the seventy-demons that he obliged to work for him. They also possess the great magical grimoires and artifacts of King Solomon. According to the mythical history of the document, as recorded in its introduction, Solomon wrote the book for his son Rehoboam, and commanded him to hide the book in his sepulchre upon his death. The grimoires contain detailed descriptions of spirits and the conjurations needed to evoke and oblige them to do the will of the conjurer. It details the protective signs and rituals to be performed, the actions necessary to prevent the spirits from gaining control the preparations prior to the invocations, and instructions on how to make the necessary instruments for the execution of these rituals. By conducting to high-rank demons, the user can summon the lower-ranking demon than the demon they conduct. The magic of King Solomon is extremely difficult. Even if the users have first-class magic talent, they can usually summon only one kind of demon in their entire lives with the exception of the main branch of the Khlystov family due to their strong blood connection to King Solomon himself. These demons are bound to their master, but resent their millennia of entrapment and will try at every possible opportunity to kill them. If the user makes a slight mistake while summoning, the demons will revolt against their master, possibly maiming or killing them. Tolya has summoned a total of twenty of the seventy-two demons including the demon King Asmodeus. However, he can only control a total of three simultaneously. Still, for one so young to have successfully summoned twenty demons is a feat to be admired. The Magic of Solomon also contains orations, spells, potions recipes, and divination methods that make use of the seven planets and the seventy-two demons. Tolya is an excellent demonologist, who can perform spells that are considered advanced for his age and level of training, and spells that normally need several people. He is not yet considered a master of his discipline, but usually is able to do things due to the sheer amount of magical power he can channel.
Stolen Demonic Abilities – The Magic of Solomon also holds the secrets to rituals that allow a magic user to steal and imbibe demonic abilities and body parts. However, the human soul was never made to withstand so much demonic power so it is already dangerous to steal one power, and only extremely proficient magic users like Tolya’s father could steal three. Tolya dumbfounded everybody when he successfully stole and imbibed six. He is the only person in existence to survive stealing and imbibing six demonic abilities, hence his alias Shest’ Roge (Six Horns). His stolen demonic powers include:- Telekinesis- Without the aid of stronger spells and only relying on his mind and the energy from his body, he can lift up to two times his own body weight.
- Immunity to Fire – Tolya can walk through intense flames and come out unscathed. As such he is virtually impossible to burn, and the fire just seems to slide off his form.
- Penumbration – This is a powerful 6th circle demonic ability that can only be wielded by the most skilled of demonologists safely. It revolves around granting a totally obedient sentience to one’s shadow. It can create a sub-minion as the users shadow can assume solid form and obey its owner’s will. This is supposed to be taxing on the demonologist, but since Tolya possesses a fusion four souls, he has no trouble using this ability. Usually, Tolya employs this ability to create a living shadow creature which possesses tendrils or blade-like appendages to fight for him.
- Demonic Eye – Tolya has stolen a 7th Circle demon’s right eye and with it he can see in the dark and augment his vision to view things in infrared or ultraviolet. He can also see any invisible creatures that are not beyond the power level of the 7th circle. Another ability that demon eyes have is to be able to see through solid objects, and can use a degree of telescopic sight. The eyes that Tolya has stolen have a range that stretches at least as far as 10 km. He can also see through most solid structures except those which have enchantments that are more powerful than the demon he stole the eye from.
- Flight – Tolya has stolen a demon’s ability to fly without the aid of wing-like appendages. Tolya can apparently fly at supersonic speeds and keep pace with a fighter jet. However Tolya’s human body cannot withstand the extremes of atmospheric pressure and G-forces, and going extremely fast can potentially kill him. Without his demonic eye, he will also be unable to perceive his surroundings while flying at such speeds.
- Perfect Teeth- This power is the most mundane of Tolya’s choices. It serves absolutely no purpose aside from making his teeth extremely shiny, white and virtually indestructible. They repel dirt, and can even reflect light as if polished to perfection. Tolya can bite into anything without fear of chipping a tooth, however his jaw muscles are still human so he can’t bite chunks out of steel or any other dense substances.
Chimeric Soul – Due to a ritual performed by his father, in an attempt to save him from a still birth, Tolya’s soul is now unique in the sense that it is actually four human souls existing as one, bound by demonic energy. It isn’t something as simple as four souls stuck together, but something that makes the whole greater than the sum of its parts. Tolya becomes a virtual magical prodigy because the experiences and power levels of his older brothers are attuned into his subconscious making him virtually capable of everything they were, and capable of everything they needed to do together. There is also a strong essence of Bael, both part of the chimeric soul and keeping it from ripping apart. This demonic essence grants Tolya a high degree of protection from the corruptive nature of demonic power. Tolya has been noted on several occasions to have tremendously vast levels of magical energy well beyond other magic users. Tolya’s father placed numerous layers of protective spells and enchantments to hide the nature of Tolya’s soul, so that nobody might be able to learn of it. During times of extreme desperation, Tolya’s soul actually actively works on its own to preserve its vessel.
Skills: Expert Marksman – With the creation of firearms, the Khlystov Bratva has used it as their staple weapon especially in the ignorant world beyond the supernatural. Part of Tolya’s training as a Russian Mafioso is to be able to wield guns with ease. His preferred weapons of choice are his two silver handguns, which he wields proficiently due to his ambidexterity. Using his demonic eye, improves his aim.
Skilled Motorcycle Driver – Tolya loves motorcycles, and ever since his father gave him the permission to have one he has been training and practicing in its use. He is capable of manipulating the machine to make hairpin turns and launching off ramps. He can also perform multiple stunts that require expert handling skill.
Chess Grandmaster– Tolya is ranked as one of the youngest people to have earned the title of grandmaster. He officially earned the title when he was thirteen after competing and winning at the international chess championship of that year. His ability in chess concretely show his superior intelligence, and it also a subtle reflection on his manipulative nature.
Personal Possessions: MTT Turbine - This is one of the most expensive motorcycles in the world, being priced at $ 150, 000. This bike, also known as the Y2K Turbine Superbike, is the Guinness World Record holder for the “Most Powerful Motorcycle Ever to Enter Series Production”. The turbine engine in this one is made by Rolls Royce and is capable of over 300hp. The motorcycle also boasts carbon fiber fairings, a rear mounted camera with LCD color display, forward-and rear-looking radar detector with laser scrambler, one touch “Smart Start” ignition, and many other cool gadgets. Tolya enjoys riding motorcycles and this is his preferred mode of transportation around the city. His model is black in color and has the Khlystov Crest worked on the side.
Weapons and Equipment: Grimoires of King Solomon – Tolya is in possession of copies of the two Grimoires of King Solomon, including the Clavicula Salomonis (The Key of Solomon) and the Lemegetton (Lesser Key of Solomon). The first book is divided into two books. It describes not the appearance or work of any spirit but only the necessary drawings to prepare each magical operations. The second book contains detailed descriptions of spirits and the conjurations needed to evoke and oblige them to do the will of the conjurer (referred to as the "exorcist"). It details the protective signs and rituals to be performed, the actions necessary to prevent the spirits from gaining control the preparations prior to the invocations, and instructions on how to make the necessary instruments for the execution of these rituals. It also contains orations, incantations and other such details. Tolya has soft-copies of the grimoires uploaded on his Iphone.
Ring of Solomon - the Ring of Solomon was a magical signet ring said to have been possessed by King Solomon, which variously gave him the power to command demons. Since the time of King Solomon, it has been reproduced by the successive owners of the grimoires left by the great king until the present day where it is in the possession of the Khlystov family. This ring functionally serves as a portable magical circle, meaning that as long as one wears this ring they are protected from demons. This ring functionally serves as a portable magical circle, meaning that as long as one wears this ring they are protected from demons. However, only Solomon's original ring could assure him from protection from all 72 demons. Nowadays, the ring only offers protection from demons who have their seals inscribed on the ring. Tolya's ring bears the seals of Dantalion, Shax, and Bifrons. It is also riddled with numerous enchantments, such as its ability to grow cold to warn the wearer when hostile magic is being used upon him. The metal has also been fused with salt from angel tears, making it a very effective weapon against demons, for it burns through their essence like a blow torch to onion skin.
Demon Slaves – The most basic aspect of the Magic of King Solomon discipline is their ability to forcibly summon the 72 enslaved demons of King Solomon. Tolya is a very potent demonologist, and whereas normally the magic users of Khlystov need to work in concert to summon one of the 72 demons and receive a demonic slave from their respective legion, Tolya can summon 20 out of the 72, but his ring bears the seal of three, Dantalion, Shax, and Bifrons, meaning they are the only ones he can summon and control without a magic circle.- Dantalion – Dantalion is a powerful Great Duke of Hell, with thirty-six legions of demons under his command; he is the 71st of 72 spirits of Solomon. He usually prefers to take the form of a young good looking man with long black hair, he is unusually pale, and his arms and lower half seem to be armored in black beetle carapace. He also has long feelers extending from above his brows. He possesses all the basic powers of a demon and can make extremely powerful constructs from his demonic energy and hell fire. He declares the secret counsel of anyone, given that he knows the thoughts of all people and can change them at his will. He can also cause infatuation and show the similitude of any person, show the same by means of a vision, and let them be in any part of the world they will. He is Tolya’s most favorite demon and is perpetually summoned and most of the time is disguised as Tolya’s butler and bodyguard Dan Talon. He is quite arrogant, and loathes Tolya for enslaving him. He and Tolya often get into insulting battles.
- Shax - Shax is a Great Marquis of Hell, and has power over thirty legions of demons on evil horses. He prefers to take the form of a large canine skeleton, with internal organs made from fire and shadow. Tolya says that it’s vaguely reminiscent of a Doberman the size of a pony. Shax possesses all the basic demonic abilities, but he is also able to take away the sight, hearing and understanding of any person under the conjurer's request. Shax can also discover hidden things if they are not protected by powers greater than his own, making him an excellent tracker. Shax is thought to be faithful and obedient, often taking the disposition of an obedient dog but actually he is a great liar and will deceive the conjurer and try to kill them with unconventional means. He knows when lies are told and uses these to teach lessons.
- Bifrons - Bifrons is a demon, Earl of Hell, with twenty six legions of demons under his command. He often takes the form bruiting hulkish monster, made from hundreds of pitch-black skinned. In spite his monstrous guise he is well versed in astrology and planetary influences, geometry, is acquainted with the virtues of herbs, precious stones and plants. Because of this, Tolya calls him a nerd, but often takes (or forces) his counsel on the appropriate use of spells and potions. He possesses all the basic demonic abilities and an increased strength even among demon standards. He is also responsible for lighting the strange corpse-lights above the tombs of the dead and moving their bodies from crypt to crypt.
- Asmodeus - Asmodeus appears as the king 'Asmoday' in the Ars Goetia, where he is said to have a seal in gold and is listed as number thirty-two according to respective rank. He is strong, powerful and appears with three heads; the first is like a bull, the second like a man, and the third like a ram; the tail of a serpent, and from his mouth issue flames of fire. Also, he sits upon an infernal dragon, holds a lance with a banner and governs seventy two legions of inferior spirits. He enjoys gambling and can be summoned with offerings of poker chips, or other gambling paraphernalia. He is the only demon king that Tolya can summon and is currently Tolya’s most powerful demon; his strength is such that whenever Tolya summons him he needs to dismiss the other three demons he already has in employ. He is actually quite pleasant to talk to and will seemingly be glad to help his conjurer; however he is known for being very cunning and might offer gambles that seem to be in favor of his conjurer. In reality, these gambles are actually very one sided and partial to Asmodeus and often end with the conjurer losing and being consumed by Asmodeus. Asmodeus is also known as the Prince of Revenge, and as such is very vindictive and will hold a grudge eternally. He actually once tried to dethrone Solomon, but was punished and sent to work building the temple. For this, he has an eternal grudge to the lineage of Solomon dating until the present day Khlystovs.
Magical Requisites - The other magical requisites are: a sceptre, a sword, also perfumes, and a chafing-dish of charcoal kindled to put the fumes on, to smoke or perfume the place appointed for action; also anointing oil to anoint the place and the mage's eyes with; and fair water to wash themselves in. Mages also require the seal of the demon they wish to summon.
Guns - Anatoly’s weapon of choice is the PP-2000. It is created from lightweight scandium alloy. It has a stainless steel slide with laser markings, white pearlite grips with silver medallions and an extended magazine well. The Khlystov family crest is etched into the side of the barrel and also magical inscriptions to keep the demons sealed inside each gun. The gun houses one 4th circle demon each. Tolya can use it as a normal gun, or channel the demonic energies inside them to empower the bullets.
Limitations: Tolya’s twisted soul is both the source of his immense power and magical aptitude, but it is also his greatest weakness. From the most basic reason, Tolya’s soul is unnatural and, like many other things which are unnatural, can’t maintain itself. Vsevolod had to use a powerful strain of demonic energy in order to make sure that the amalgam of the four souls didn’t rip itself apart. The nature of his soul makes it extremely unstable and attacks directed at it may prove quite dangerous if not fatal for Tolya. Furthermore, Tolya’s has little control over his own soul making spells related to it, such as astral projection, downright impossible for him to perform. Due to this and that he has far more magical energy than his body can consciously contain, it leaks out constantly, preventing him from hiding it and effectively making stealth impossible when dealing with other magically-aware beings.
At a psychological perspective, Tolya also suffers extreme distress in thinking that he may perhaps be insane. During weak moments of extreme fatigue or near death, the spiritual abomination of Tolya’s soul might try to take over his body in order to preserve it. They are no longer truly humanly aware, but merely a mass of restless consciousness and chaotic magical essence representing tolya’s purest instincts of survival. He will kill and destroy anyone who he deems as a threat. In this state, Tolya will have to fight an internal battle with the twisted consciousness of his soul to regain control of his body.
There is also the issue of the Khlystov family being completely disgusted at the mere idea that one of their own is an abomination, something practically the same as a demon. If ever the secret of the true nature of Tolya’s soul would be found out, it wouldn’t be beyond the Khlystov family to deem him as too dangerous and attempt to take his life.
With his magical abilities, Tolya has his own share of limitations as well. Even though he can cast spells that would normally require a concert of demonologists to perform, he is not a spellweaver and cannot short-cut his spells. As such, his spell casting versatility is limited to the constraint of time during the heat of the battle. He can’t be expected to droll out long-winded incantations or draw complicated magical circles on the ground while a vampire or a werewolf is desperately trying to rip-off his head. Even though he has a set of stolen demonic abilities, he cannot use them indefinitely.
He can fly for so long as his magical reserve of energy holds out, and of course greater speeds require greater siphons of energy much like gasoline on a car. Although since Tolya’s reservoir of magical energy is downright insane, he can maintain sustained flight for a total of seven days before collapsing from fatigue. He is able to fly at supersonic speeds but going this fast without magically protecting himself from atmospheric pressure or extreme temperatures is suicide.
Tolya also cannot overwork his demonic eye. Aside from their already mentioned limitations, Tolya can only maintain continuous control over his eye for about half an hour or so. Longer periods of time will strain the human nerves and muscles surrounding the eye, causing extreme pain and his tear ducts to rupture. The disparity between his demon eye and his human eye will also cause a warping of his sight, leading then to nausea or spatial distortion. As such, when Tolya activates his demonic eye he needs to close his left human eye.
Even though Tolya’s penumbration is quite powerful and his large magical reservoir compensates for its otherwise massive drain, the more complex his shadow constructions are then the more difficult they are to control. It also follows the logic that Tolya can only work with the amount of shadow currently present, but he can connect his shadow to other existing shadows to have more to work with, but obviously this will also cause the drain to increase.
Tolya is able to summon twenty different kinds of demons, but he can only control three of them simultaneously. And at times when all three of the demons are engaged in battle, he can barely spare concentration on anything else but keeping them under his control. Whenever Tolya summons Asmodeus, he becomes unable to summon any other demon since he needs all his power to control the demon king. Another aspect of summoning the seventy demons is that, summoning requires energy and time. This effectively nullifies the ability of Tolya to juggle between his demons rapidly. The demons which Tolya has personally bound to himself are Dantalion, Shax and Bifrons. He can summon and control them the most effectively.
Another grave weakness to the Magic of King Solomon is its dependence on the seal. Each magic user practicing the magic of Solomon needs their own copy of the seal; otherwise the demons would not follow their orders and most probably kill them outside of the protection of their pentagram. Relieving the magic user of their seal will disconnect them from the brazen vessel of Solomon and any control they have over the demon is nullified until they retrieve their ring or manage to return to the protection of the pentagram and bind the demon to Solomon’s triangle again. Spellcasting with the magic of Solomon is also essentially dangerous since it requires one to open their soul as a conduit of demonic energies, in order to fuel their power. Demonic energy is incredibly corrupting and constantly described as an eternal battle of ice and fire. As such, weak-willed individuals or those who do not have the sufficient strength and resolve to fight against the nature of demonic energy will die.
Tolya has only been practicing Technomany for about five years and is far from a master of it. He can perform the basics of technomancy and dabbles a little in introducing technology into solomonic magic, but he rarely relies on this ability when fighting and really treats it more closely to a hobby.

Personality Description: Tolya first seems to be a perfect: he is very handsome, he is the heir to a multi-billion dollar enterprise, he is the most powerful demonologist seen in centuries, he has one of the highest I.Q.s in Europe, and he is a skilled physical fighter. His favorite philosopher is Karl Marx, his favorite despot is Katerine the Great, his favorite Primal Scream album is Vanishing Point and that his favorite food is pancakes. He is rather well-versed in seemingly everything and is prone to spouting out lines from Shakespeare or Nietzsche.
It’s difficult not to be proud considering that his life seems to be the stuff most people’s dreams are made out of. However he is far from perfect and has flaws most of which are internal and extremely deep seated and often unhealthy. There is a dark side to his personality, however. The flip side of Tolya's charm and self-confidence is an arrogant belief in his own superiority. He displays his love for "control and manipulation" and fondness for the unpredictability of the universe, comparing the lives of those around to him to the functions of subatomic particles.
This reflects on the kind of demons that Tolya prefers to summon, they are often unpredictable demons which have unique abilities that revolve around control and manipulation of enemies. They aren’t the demons who are strongest in sheer strength and power, but they are considered as some of the most cunning and intelligent among the seventy-two.
Tolya is mainly an exaggerated stereotype of a boastful and careless boy. He is quick to point out how great he is, even when such claims are questionable. Tolya has a nonchalant, devil-may-care attitude, and is fearlessly cocky when it comes to putting himself in danger. He seems awfully laid back and not serious about anything, even finding time to have his fun in the most inopportune of times, such as cracking an occasional joke that nobody else but he seems to enjoy. This becomes morbid when it translate to his tasks as a Mafioso, such as he considers the act of killing someone a needless game and can kill a person in cold blood as easily as a kid can kill ants with a magnifying glass.
Tolya can also be quite nasty and selfish. He appears very judgmental and pompous. He displays characteristics of immaturity or certain sorts of psychological and social problems. He also possesses attributes such as irresponsibility, rebelliousness, pottering about, anger, narcissism, dependency, manipulativeness, and the belief that he is beyond society's laws and norms. He has the habit of whistling or drumming his fingers whenever he's doing something minimal because he has the constant need for something to occupy his mind. Easygoing with a near constant smile, Tolya seems comfortable in his skin; although he has this disconcerting jiggly knee thing he calls “my worst habit.” Tolya is also extremely headstrong, and combined with his sense of superiority, and general immaturity thinks that he is invincible and can win any battle single handedly, despite lacking the experience. This often gets him into extremely sticky situations.
Strengths:
- Intelligent – Tolya is a child prodigy and is known to have one of the highest tested IQ under twenty. His memory is above average and can contain large amounts of information for extended periods of time. Such is the nature of Tolya’s intelligence that he is capable of separating the different variables in the situation and thinking outside of the box.
- Charming – Tolya is undoubtedly a handsome boy, the fact of the matter is that he knows this himself. Tolya is an extremely charming individual; he knows his way with the ladies and can be considered as a play boy. His upbringing in an aristocratic family, gives him that princely flair.
- Charismatic – Tolya speaks very surely of himself, despite being arrogant he carries himself with a bearing that is almost magnetic. People are beguiled by his presence at times, and drawn to him even though he doesn’t like being in a position of responsibility.
- Observant – Tolya’s skills of observation are very developed. Combined with his intelligence, he can seem to analyze every aspect of a situation. He rarely misses anything he concentrates on and can pick up on the slightest of details that most people would just brush over. This skill develops to Tolya being able to read body language as second nature.
- Intuitive – Tolya has strong intuition that allows him to come across pieces of information which he didn’t necessarily learn previously. This may have something to do with the past experiences and knowledge of his brothers being subconsciously accessible to him.
- Manipulative – Tolya also possess a skill in manipulating people. With his other strengths combined and used with each other, he can eerily pinpoint psychological weaknesses among people and use them for his benefit. Spending time with Tolya gives him more things to use as weapons against other people.
Weaknesses:- Narcissistic Personality Disorder – Tolya suffers from NPD or Narcissistic Personality Disorder. It is often difficult to spot right away since the symptoms of Narcissistic personality disorder can be similar to the traits of individuals with strong self-esteem and confidence, which Tolya is nothing short of. However, he has such an elevated sense of self-worth that he values himself as inherently better than others. Yet, he has a fragile self-esteem and cannot handle criticism, and will often try to compensate for this inner fragility by sadistically belittling or disparaging others in an attempt to validate their own self-worth.
- Selfish – Being a spoiled little rich kid, Tolya is also used to getting anything that he wants. Most of the time, he will put his own agendas before others. He also will rarely do anything if there isn’t anything in it to be gained by him.
- Dissocial personality disorder – Tolya has a sociopathic tendency to become callous for the feelings of others. He also has a gross and persistent attitude of irresponsibility and disregard for social norms, rules, and obligations. It also should be noted that Tolya has incapacity to maintain enduring relationships, though he has absolutely no difficulty in establishing them.
- Careless – Tolya is rather careless and can be quite crippled by his lack of concern about the consequences of an action, and by extension, the behavior that results from that lack of concern. He tends to be negligent meaning that he fails to take the care that a reasonably prudent person would exercise in like circumstances. This also makes him impulsive, often making him inclined to initiate behavior without adequate forethought as to the consequences of their actions, acting on the spur of the moment.
- Agateophobia – Tolya has a very deep-seated fear that he is turning insane. He doesn’t know about the nature of his soul and therefore thinks that all the unexplained memories and the sudden phases of other twisted consciousness swimming in his own is a product of his slow regression into insanity. He is scared, but at the same time too proud to let anybody know of his fears.
Fear/s:- That he is turning insane
- To suffer the same fate as is brothers
Goal/s:- To become a Vor v Zakone as great or even greater than his father
- To succesfully integrate his Solomonic Magic and Technomany
- To go to the moon
.
biography
Their Story: Anatoly Vsevolodich Khlystov, was born on the night of August 7, 1993 in Moscow Russia. He was born as a Khlystov and therefore into one of the most dangerous and influential crime families in the world and one of the most powerful magical lines in the supernatural underworld with bloodlines being able to be traced back to King Solomon himself. However, Anatoly’s birth is shrouded in ancient dark magic coupled with the bloody history of his older siblings and a secret that would virtually topple the entire value system of the Khlystov family.
Prior to Anatoly, he had three older brothers, all of whom had died under unfortunate circumstances. Being descendents of Solomon, and heir to the powerful secrets locked within the Clavis Salomonis and the Lemegetton, they were all powerful demonologists. Obviously, for humans to attempt and take control of entities as powerful as demons, they enter into a world that holds far more risks and dangers. His eldest brother Fyodor, died through an imperfect summoning of a high-level demon. Fyodor had miscalculated on the strength of his protective wards and the demon was able to break through the barriers and kill him, before he could complete a successful binding. His second brother Lukian, died when his physical human body was unable to contain the fourth demonic ability he tried to steal and imbue into himself. His third brother Dimitri, the one closest to him in age, died during a gang-war in the city when he accidentally called upon too many demons to fight for him in battle and was unsuccessful in controlling them all. In his death he took out half a city block alongside with the gang members of the opposing families he was in battle with.
With three sons dying, Anatoly’s father- Vsevolod- became almost desperate in keeping his fourth son alive, especially when they received the news that Anatoly was a weak child inside his mother’s womb. In his most radical attempt to assure Anatoly’s survival, he employed the use of an ancient rite of dark magic, whilst Anatoly was still in his mother’s womb. Vsevolod used dark magic, to retrieve the departed souls of his older sons and fuse them with the soul of his unborn child. This would assure that Anatoly possessed a degree of protection at all times.
However, during the middle of the ritual things took a turn for the worse. Despite Vsevolod’s proficiency in demonology and necromancy, the sheer abomination to life and magic that he was attempting to create didn’t want to hold together. The fusion of four souls didn’t want to merge successfully and were threatening to rip apart and kill the unborn child along with completely annihilating all the souls involved. In a last ditch attempt to save the life of his unborn sons and the souls of his older ones, Vsevolod did what was unthinkable: he summoned the most powerful demon King Bael, most powerful of the 72. Using an extremely powerful strain of Bael’s demonic energy, Vsevolod forced the four souls together with the demonic essence as a binder. Vsevolod himself didn’t know what to make of the resulting creation. Delving into his unborn child, Vsevolod found that Tolya was more magical entity than he was human. Even though he seemed to be a normally growing fetus Tolya had a soul 4 times “larger” or more powerful than a normal human being’s. Vsevolod also sensed a sinister consciousness forming within the unborn child; it rose like some bubble from the bottom of a pool of tar. Tolya’s soul was a chimeric creation, an insult to nature and possibly a great cause of ruin. Vsevolod considered killing the child, but he couldn’t make himself do it. He tried to remedy his mistake, and cast excessive layers of protective enchantments both to hide the nature of Tolya’s soul and to keep whatever entity dwelling inside safely detained. Vsevolod didn’t reveal the secret of Anatoly’s true nature and forbade anyone from summoning Bael, in order to ensure the safety of the secret. The very existence of Anatoly is possibly the greatest stain in the history of the descendents of Solomon…one of their own being more demon than he was human.
During her pregnancy Petrvona’s body couldn’t cope with sustaining the extremely powerful entity inside her and she began to deteriorate. The doctors and other members of the family dismissed it as being a dangerous birth and suggested that she not risk her life and get rid of the child before it was fully formed. Petrovna didn’t accept the suggestion and said that she already felt her child conscious and thinking. Vsevolod soon enough confessed to his wife his actions, and asked her if she had changed her mind about getting rid of the child. Petrovna said that she didn’t and she already loved the unborn Tolya, and made Vsevolod promise to take care of the child and devote his life to finding a way to cure the child. She also made him promise to never tell their son what he was, and to make him grow up as normally and happily as he could. He accepted these promises and through the rest of Petrovna’s pregnancy he tried to ease her pain as much as he could. By the time Tolya was born, her body wasn’t strong enough to survive the labor process and she died.
Vsevolod suffered from extreme guilt, for indirectly causing the death of his wife. However, he greatly loved Anatoly, because it seemed that he was the only thing left in his life to love, and that loving him was like loving all of his sons together. Because of this, Tolya was treated like a prince. Throughout his life, Tolya was given all the attention that his father could spare outside of the business. Vsevolod also became extremely careful with Tolya’s life, pulling out all the stops to make sure that Tolya was safe. Vsevolod intended to keep Anatoly away from practicing magic and joining the Bratva so that he would be kept distant and safe from the supernatural war. But early on it became obvious that his dream of keeping his son happy and ignorant was not going to happen.
From a young age, Tolya already exhibited a natural affinity for magic it was an unexplainable intuition that amazed the members of the Khlystov family. Among the feats that Tolya was able to do was that he was able to recognize his nanny as a demon, or at least as something inhuman. It was just a regular day when Tolya was three when he asked his father if Nyanya Ilya was a person. Vsevolod was shocked for Ilya was actually Gremory, Vsevolod’s most trusted demonic slave. He was soon also able to recognize objects imbued with magic from mundane ones andhis steadily growing pool of magical energy could no longer be ignored. Together with his aptitude for magic, his high-level of intelligence also showed itself at an extremely early age. Anatoly was classified as a child prodigy at the age of two, when he self-taught himself how the play the piano and chess.
When it was obvious that Anatoly’s magical training could no longer be avoided, he began studying under the tutelage of the members of the Bratva. Anatoly displayed such a natural talent for magic that he would constantly surprise his teachers by making great leaps in his studies and being able to reproduce highly advanced spells after only seeing them performed once. When asked how he could perform such things, Tolya merely replied with ”I don’t know, I just seem to know how to do it already”. Vsevolod became concerned, could it be possible that the knowledge, proficiencies and experiences of his older sons could leak out into his youngest ones. It seemed to be the case, and since Tolya was virtually the only living entity of his kind, Vsevolod had no basis of what to expect. Tolya made great leaps with his magical talent and was able to summon his first demon when he was six years old. However it also became a point of issue when Anatoly didn’t seem to be taking the dangers of these conjurations seriously, such as when he would summon demons in order to have playmates or when he would purposely use magic to punish the other children that he had fought with. It was a constant routine of cleaning up Tolya’s magical messes until the young boy learned a little bit of self-control, or at least of subtlety.
His skills continued to grow exponentially. His father was extremely worried that his streak of accomplishments would end soon and that he would suffer the same fate as his brothers. But Anatoly couldn’t be held back, and as much as he respected his father he always went behind his back and continued to practice advanced spells without expected years of training before the attempt. Such occurrences were when Anatoly performed the ritual of the Roge and he stole six demonic abilities. He is also the only living person in existence to be able to steal and imbue six demonic abilities and survive. His father possesses three demonic abilities, and that is already considered an achievement as most people only get one and few get two. Vsevolod suspected this is because Anatoly possesses an amalgam of four already magically potent souls. Anatoly’s powers seemed to be so great, that he could actually match against demons with his sheer magical aura alone. His powers levels were rarely seen so naturally among humans that he earned the moniker the Demon Prince.
Growing up, Anatoly greatly looked up to his father, and not only wished to be a great demonologist but also an expert Mafioso. Once again, Vsevolod was against this, he wanted to keep his last remaining son away from danger. But tradition spoke louder and Anatoly was practically devout in his calling to take after his father. He integrated himself in the workings of the bratva and became something of an informal member; albeit one who came to be extremely useful. He was proficient in the tasks that he undertook, going through them with an innate talent that most would think he had been at the business for years. It came to a point when Vsevolod was pressured to let Tolya join the ranks of the bratva as an official member. When Anatoly was fifteen he received his rose tattoo as a sign of his official initiation into the Bratva. He also received his horn tattoos, for the six demonic abilities that he stole prior to joining the bratva. On the same year, Tolya also managed to earn himself his skull tattoo when he killed an assassin who targeted him.
Anatoly continued his Demonologist studies in Russia, as was traditional for all the sons of Khlystov, but when Khlystov moved its central base of operations into Arc city, Vsevolod moved with it. At seventeen, Anatoly learned all he could in Russia and a decision was made that the rest of his training could only be conducted by the most powerful demonologists in the family, all of whom were in the City of Arc. So Anatoly also moved to join his father, in the City suspended between earth, heaven, and hell.
