 [atrb=border,0,true][atrb= style, width: 245px; background-color: 171717;]adalina stregoni. so this is the famous mama stregoni! she's hot, obviously...she has to be in order to snag vincenzo and birth such a gorgeous son like marco! anyway, she is in her early forties and is an ex mage - making her now human. she has visconti blood running through her veins (demonologists but not the smartest ones) which means, in a sense, she is cursed. the original viscontis were from the island of sicily and, in order to keep their wealth, status, and power in the southern part of italy, they struck a deal with a ninth circle demon. they would sacrifice all of their daughters in order to have such goals met but they had to be of visconti blood. if there was no visconti blood in their veins, they would not be sacrificed. the demon, essentially, would suck the soul and life energy out of the girl and damn it eternally to hell to pay for the sins of her family so they can be all happy and dandy on earth. lina's grandmother (by marriage) managed to save her daughter, lina's mother, and in turn save lina. eventually, lina's mother was killed by the demon on the day of lina's birth and ten years ago, during a trip to sicily in order to rescue her older brother and his team, the demon managed to catch her but only managed to take away, for good, what made her a mage. he took the magical energy that a human would need to channel into in order to perform magic. however, despite being magically useless, she is, as her nickname serves, one hell of a warrior. she sees her husband as the brain and herself as the brawn. she may seem thin and tall, but she is lean and is extremely well trained in espionage, martial arts, and the military. she also assassinated people for the stregoni family but is the public relations specialist for stregoni's many affairs - she's the one who keeps the media from moving in like sharks on anything and everything they do. overall, adalina is very competitive and outgoing. she has a mama bear attitude to her and is very lively. she's also extremely passive aggressive and has a "face" for everything. beware, she isn't one to be messed with. with friends, i can imagine her having tons but they would of course be normal humans who know nothing about her other duties in the stregoni family - or other mages. she's surprisingly very friendly despite being prone to violence or tossing in sarcastic comments and eye rolls. she's also very italian, being born and raised there, so though her english is understandable, her accent could get in the way sometimes. with enemies, she'd obviously have tons. she had magically enhanced weapons and other nick knacks that she isn't afraid to use so yeah. haha and she can hold a grudge until the end of time so if you, for example, wound her pride - she will never let you live it down. as for lovers, she is happily married thank you very much but it doesn't mean men don't flirt with her...whether she flirts back or not all depends on the man and whether it would be fun or not.
