Physical Appearance: Korbin’s current form that he has ‘grown up’ with is that of an African American male in his early fourties. He is tall about 6’2 and well-muscled weighing on average 200 lbs with short curly hair. His typical casual dress is black tank tops and black or blue jeans that are always well fit and held with a belt. His role as a Cop and subsequent rise to Chief, has led him to take on many appearances to be an undercover agent at times. When he is on duty, he looks the part. He dresses as befits the uniform of the force, always well groomed, with pressed clothing and appearance. His badge is always shiny, his gun always polished. His rank insignias include a gold band across his cover, with gold leaf branches on the bill, shoulder bars on his jacket with honors and awards across the left breast.

His Angel form is that if the small red orb of light but when he manifests into a True Form, it is quite another story. An imposing 7’6”, a massive frame of broad shoulders, insanely bulked arms and legs, rock-hard chiseled abs would make his weight nearly 320 pounds…if he ever became fully substantial. Tongues of flame wreathe this form. He has an immense wing span of twenty feet, composed entirely of flame. His hair is naught but a dance of red. His eyes are coal black, and when he opens his mouth to speak, the inside of his mouth is a burning inferno. His voice is far deeper and booming, sounding with a thousand voices. One would think he was the Prince of Evil himself, oh but he is quite holy. He is a Seraphim.

• Gift of Tongues– He can easily understand, speak read and write any known vernacular without any prior training.
  
  
• Shapeshifting– He has perfectly mastered this ability, practicing it numerous times over the years. He has taken on many forms though his current form he is rather attached to being that it is a position of authority in this world.
  
  
• Potens– He possesses a strength that rivals that of the strongest Alpha werewolf or Elder vampire.
  
  
• Vita Aeterna- The Angel can create a vessel protecting their Spirit, which is vulnerable. The vessel can, at the will of the Angel, be either completely human comprised of human cells and innards, or it could be made of whatever the Angel wanted to be. The vessel can, at an instant of being attacked, become insubstantial, thus being invulnerable to physical attack. If the Vessel is harmed or destroyed, the Angel has to get away and reform a new vessel.
  
  
• Anima– He can look at anyone and instantly know all of their deeds good and bad. He is the perfect Judge because he sees everything about who they are and the state of their soul. He cannot control a person’s free will, but he can definitely take away their freedom.
  
  
• Grace- He has the amount of energy appropriate to one of Tria standing. He is able to create objects and energy out of nothing. He can mute the aura of his energy so it is much harder to sense, both scent and by feel. He can use his Divine Energy in many ways. He can fly without wings. He can use energy like a cloaking shield to obscure an immediate area from mortal human eyes and ears to hide a battle. It can be used as a form of attack, or he can create shields or barriers around himself. Or it can be bestowed upon someone as a gift to increase their natural ability for only up to twenty four hours. He has heard of other Angels using their energy on an object to give it a unique property, but he rarely does this. Objects he create last only as long as he actively wills them to. Beware of accepting money or items of wealth or so called ‘power’ from him. It might not be real.
  
  
• Psychometry- Korbin can touch any object and instantaneously know its entire history including where it's been, who had handled it, and what it was used for. The information begins from the moment the object came into existence until the time that Korbin has touched it.
  
  
• Fire Manipulation- As a Seraphim, his trademark element is that of Fire. Fire tends to ‘lean’ towards him in his presence, no matter his form. He can control the movement of existing flame, and with Grace, create flame. Fire can help him to heal his vessel, or his Spirit, be it his manifested form or the orb of light. He can draw energy from the fire to recharge his own. It is nearly impossible to kill him while he is in the middle of a raging inferno.
  
  
• Teleportation - Razeal has been all around the world in his efforts to kill demons. He is capable of teleporting from one location to another. He first becomes insubstantial, then just winks out of existence, appearing a few seconds later, somewhere else. He can take up to two mortals with him, one hand touching each one.
  
  
• Exorcism - Razeal was sent to kill demons. He is an exorcist when dealing with possessions. Catholics have it pretty close on how to exorcise demons but he does not require all of the rituals, just faith and a few words. He still slays demons as he sees them, but since he Fell, he has taken on new objectives.

Skills:

• Law: Razeal knows the law of the land, front, back, up, down, left, right, diagonally, and all five dimensions…figuratively speaking. He has spent months both in the library and the Police station’s records, studying the laws of the City.
  
  
• Police Training: Razeal created his human form Korbin Kane when he appeared to be a twenty two year old male. He went through all the basic rigors of police academy, all of the training and tests required. He held back his abilities and passed all of his exams with marks rating one of slightly above average ability, which was still perfectly normal, and pretended to sweat through it. He has spent twenty-one years as a cop, has earned many awards of recognition and completed numerous extra hours of training requirements. He was promoted to Chief two years ago.
  
  
• Duty and Leadership: Razeal was placed by God over a host of two thousand angels to wage a war against the demons since the beginning of Sin. When he chose to Fall, he lost all but one. The police force currently employs about 35,000 sworn officers, with several thousand support staff. There are also approximately 3,200 Auxiliary Police Officers, 4,500 School Safety Agents, 2,300 Traffic Enforcement Agents, and 370 Traffic Enforcement Supervisors. Korbin Kane oversees all of this. His duties include oversight of the departments totality of operation and budget, limited discipline of officers, dismissal, and promotions. He Patrols, investigates, and all other duties performed by officers. He maintains and develops policies and equipment including management of equipment acquired, attends events and council meetings. He has to report to the Mayor the goings-on.
  
  
• Gunmanship: Only since he Fell has he had to take an interest in guns in order to be a cop. His aim is actually very good considering he is a marksman with balls of fire and energy. He is familiar only with shotguns and pistols of various calibers.
  
  
• Swordsmanship: Razeal has learned the use of all manner of weapons. He never liked guns because they spoiled the fun of an intimate one on one battle which he thrives off of. The manifestation of his Form as he wishes to appear when not human, uses a massive Claymore to control the movement of flame and cut with deadly accuracy and swiftness. As a human, Korbin Kane can be seen using twin sabers, set aflame. His prowess and speed make him a whirling dervish.
  

Personal Possessions: A gold crucifix on a pure gold chain is almost always worn beneath his shirt. The cross is a representation to him of what he is here for and why. Even though he is Fallen, he still very much honors and fears God.

Weapons and Equipment: Being the top dog of the City chain, Korbin has access to the best weapons, but prefers to keep it simple. When a day goes by there is not a massive stack of papers on his desk, he will run a patrol with two other officers. Any time he is out as an Officer, he carries the standard issue .40 caliber hand-gun, and all basic equipment including bullet proof, Kevlar vest, extendable baton, three sets of hand-cuffs, pepper spray, and radio.

When he has to face supernaturals, his weapon choice could vary depending on the situation. He has never met a creature that could survive being burned alive so that is most often his weapon of choice when he really gets down to business. But sometimes if he has to play mortal he might use two, double barrel, dual trigger 12-guage shotguns with ammo he creates suitable to what he’s after. Or for those who have truly stirred his ire, or simply amused him enough, he can bring out twin sabers, lighting them afire. When he fights with swords, especially at night, it can be a beautiful display.

His manifested angel form uses a massive nine foot long Claymore. Despite its extreme size, it is made of divine energy and weighs nothing but its edge is razor sharp and its blade dances with a wreath of flame.

There is only one other Angel who was part of the original two thousand that has been the closest to Razeal and decided to Fall when he did, simply to continue to aide him.

Limitations:
Razeal is a Spirit, as a Spirit, he is incredibly resilient to harm, but magic still hurts him. He is susceptible to magic and spells that bind or trap, or spells that prevent actions. Wards can be created to keep him away, or to seal him into an object. Because he is a Tria, the mage would have to be extremely powerful to do any of this. The mage would also have to know his real name, Razeal, if they wanted to make a binding spell of enough power to hold him.

Water. The bane of all fire. While natural water is a petty annoyance, magically created water, or water that puts out the flames of his weapons, or extinguish his flames while he is trying to heal, can be used to one’s advantage. Ice can also entrap him if he cannot generate enough heat to melt it. Once his fires are out, he has to use his own spirits energy to re-ignite, or to continue without the fire.

He has to rest for a length of time dependent upon the amount of his personal reserves of Divine energy used. If he uses up all of his own energy, with no way to regain it from Fire, he can die.

Vampires and Werewolves are capable of interacting with Spirits. This makes their attacks upon the vessel particularly dangerous, because they can not only harm the vessel, but also the spirit within. That is, of course, if the attack reaches the Spirit, as the Angel can hide their spirit anywhere within the Vessel. Magically treated weapons are also particularly harmful to the vessel and the Angel within.

Because he is Fallen, if he dies, he is completely destroyed. He will do anything he can to protect himself. If he is faced with a Mage of such power that could ensnare him, he would be willing to do almost anything to save himself.

He can only create something while looking in the direction, and placement of the item to be made. If he is reloading, he has to crack open the barrels, glance down, concentrate, then snap them back with a practiced wrist flick back in place and re-aim.

Korbin cannot retain all the information he receives and often forgets a lot of details except for the things that he deems important. The nature behind his psychometry is also that he only sees as far back as the object has existed for its purpose. Example, if he were to touch a pencil he would not know the history behind the tree from where the wood came from, or the lead...but only its history as it existed as a pencil. Certain magical wardings can also prevent Korbin from seeing the full history of objects and they may only come to him in flashes of images or nothing at all.

Anima can be a real bitch at times. He can choose to turn the sense on and off, but the real problem lies in what every angel must face. Human choice is its own double edged sword. On the one hand, there is always a reason behind every action. A murder can be perfectly acceptable if it was because a guy broke into your house and you were defending yourself. On the other hand, an Angel still sees it as a murder, and not all of them can tell the reasons behind it. One too many a time, Razeal has had to take their entire life into consideration before making a final decision.

Razeal can take up to two non-angelic people with him when he teleports and he must be touching them. His method is quite gentle, and is to simply extend his spirit to the person, and they would simply fade out and reappear a few seconds later at their destination. Those who travel in this fashion would feel very lightheaded after such travel and might be unable to react quickly for a few minutes.

Personality Description: Korbin Kane is not a real human. For all of Razeal’s experience with human and human emotion, he still will never get it completely right. Korbin has been described at times as very cold and aloof. He does not have the full and complete range of emotion. For instance, he has never experienced real, heart pounding, soul splitting, jump-in-front-of-a-bullet-for-you love. He was never meant to be a loving person. He was sent to kill demons, and that is what he does best.

Razeal is by nature, benevolent. His actions most often stem from a desire to step in and assist where he can. While he does feel compassion and empathy, part of the reason he fell to begin with, his actions are a little more selfish than any true sense of care for human suffering. In short, Razeal simply loves what he does.

Razeal knows that to openly use his power against supernaturals could lead to the city going up in flame. This is not to say he will not protect himself. He will just be careful that it is limited in who knows about it. He is a lot more subtle in what he does and uses others to do things for him sometimes. Korbin is secretly gaining allies and real equipment to gear his followers. Razeal is extremely righteous and over-zealous in his pursuits. He is often very unforgiving of failure of those he has tasked.

While he is careful to not kill or let harm come to those who are truly innocent, he has been known to use Machiavellian means to achieve the end result. Sometimes it is how you achieve the end result that gets the job done; he has been known to use people as pawns to achieve his goals. He did not have to become Chief of Police to deal with the problems of the city. It was simply a way to take a greater role in reclaiming control of the city back to the hard working, innocent, purely human people.

Razeal is not opposed to using people who do have supernatural powers to aide him. He will only use people who are basically good and are using their power to benefit others in some way, whether it be those who hunt other evil supernaturals, or who use their gifts to help people.

Razeal has never honestly had any desire to be human. This longing is too cliché. He did not Fall to become closer to the humans or for any real will to be human.

Their Story:
Ever since the Fall of Lucifer, there has been evil. Razeal is one of the first Angels the Father sent to Earth to deal with demons. For all of his time on Earth, Razeal has slain countless demons, aided by his host of two thousand angels, all of various rank. Never once did he ever go against the Father, or his duty as an Avenging Angel.

Then came The Arc. And around it, grew Arc City. The Arc was an extremely powerful relic, capable of bending reality and giving whoever found it, unimaginable power rivaling even that of The Father, himself. Such a relic in the wrong hands would be devastating. Thus, Razeal was sent to destroy the Arc, just as the city was beginning to form around it, nearly 200 years ago.

To reach The Arc, Razeal had to collect the keys. As an Angel, he was not allowed to affect the Mortals in any way, so he had to find more creative ways of obtaining the Keys. All the while, Arc City attracted both good and evil alike, mostly evil, drawing mortals and immortals, to it like moths to flame. It was as if the Arc itself bended fate and reality to bring people to it.

Apparently, they were not the only ones after the keys. As some of the keys fell into the wrong hands, they were being used, and not at all for good. Not to mention, he was finding it increasingly difficult to locate the ones that were left. As he watched, mortals were being destroyed left and right as the evil in the city slowly outgrew everything else. The keys were shifting hands too often to follow. There were also, literally thousands of demons plaguing the city. It seemed like anything good here never made it long.

Razeal and his host fought the demons as they saw them, but the sheer number of them became overwhelming. And it was not just your average weak demons. It even seemed like some of them were being controlled by someone. The demons were unbound by any sort of codes, and all too often, used mortals in their endeavors. The angels could do nothing to interfere with the mortal lives, and were thus powerless to stop them. Humans were dying on a daily basis. Then there was the problem with Vampires and Werewolves being able to see them and hurt them. Hundreds of Angels fell and went back to Heaven.

It seemed like nothing they were doing was working, and they were fighting a losing battle. Razeal began to lose hope that they would ever succeed in this mission. The longer it went on, the more jaded Razeal became. Something drastic would have to be done.

Faced with the ultimate dilemma, Razeal chose to Fall.

Once Fallen, he was free to pursue the keys how he saw fit, while at the same time, be capable of dealing with the growing Supernatural infestation of the City. Over the next several days, he formed Korbin Kane. Korbin was Razeal’s best form yet. The body he chose was made thicker and stronger than anything he had been in before. It would have to be strong to survive. Korbin produced all the necessary paperwork of someone who had been born in Arc and graduated. He joined the police force.

As a cop, he was able to do much more than just put badguys behind bars. He had access to their weapons, their numbers were good for cover, and they had communication across the city allowing Korbin to know exactly what was going on throughout Arc. Over the years, Korbin rose in rank. He was very good at what he did, and never failed in making the right call. He earned several different medals and ribbons for various achievements. Korbin led a team into a massive building collapse, kept everything organized, and managed to clear the four story office building of everyone inside before it crashed. The cause had been a devastating supernatural battle, but all evidence was covered well and the cause was left unknown. Korbin Kane proved to be a fearless, and peerless, individual.

When Korbin was promoted to Chief, along with all of the new responsibility it brought, he still made time for other things. He has, over the years, slowly been creating an army, and gaining equipment through numerous under the table deals and the occasional black market romp. His mission? Simple. Complete takeover of the city, destroy all evil, find the keys, and once and for all, destroy the accursed Arc.
