Nate Bites.

The title is both figurative and literal.

So I finally decided that Nate really needed a plot page since, well, everyone had one. So here goes. This is Nathaniel Devlin, also known as Nate. He’s a kind of an ass. Well, he’s really an ass. He likes to tell people what he thinks regardless of the consequences and he likes to be upfront with people. The closer one is to Nate, the more of an ass he is towards that person. He considers himself a bad person, though he often does good things when it concerns other people, especially those he cares for. He doesn’t believe in the black and white rule of things, but rather sees everything as grey. He has his own moral rules and does not believe in bending them for someone. He isn’t a judgmental person, but that doesn’t mean he tolerates everything. He’s a private investigator and is a poor person so you’d maybe have fun with that. He hates idiots.

Friends:

If you can break his uberly thick wall of protection, then yes, he could be friends with you. He’s really loyal, like a dog—no pun intended, but he’s also a very distrustful person. He rarely lets people really in.

Enemies:

Nate has a sharp tongue, especially when he decides he doesn’t like someone. He’d probably have lots of these also because he a very tactless person and will most probably rub a lot of people the wrong way.

Lovers:

Oh Nate. Lol.

He’s not the type of person to look for lovers, but lovers may find their way to him. He’s the type of person who doesn’t really realize that he’s attracted to someone until they either tell him or the attraction stares him right in the face. He’s funny like that. If you’re thinking of becoming lovers with Nate, by all means you’re welcome to try. No promises though. It will just have to depend on how the thread will go.

so you posted in his plot page and i'm replying here haha. liek you said, i don't know how they would meet. maybe in the forest or something along those lines since he spends most of his time there or whatever lol but either way, lenny does have the tendency to act like an idiot though he's pretty intelligent. that could go either way i guess with nate since he doesn't like idiots lol.

she adores his honesty and for being respectful - obviously - haha but the two of them walk a very fine line. as long as he stays on her good side, she won't touch him.not friends but not enemies either...other than the basics.

so catalin is unintentionally and obliviously trusting nate in the thread they are in with don. if she ended up liking him (which i see happening since i fashioned her as a mixture of cat woman and the girl with the dragon tattoo), she wouldn't hesitate to just be like "i like you." because she's cool like that and nonchalant and awesome. lol

Yeah, it's kind of a coin toss as to how they'll get along. Lol. Hm...if you have any ideas for a thread, at least a start of one, please let me know. I'm kind of really slow at starting threads lol.

Yeah, they're kind of funny when they interact. Nate kind of admires her, merely because she wasn't what he expects at times, and is more so at others. It's hard to explain. Hahaha.

Yeah, if that happened I'm sure Nate would pull a good 'ol Nate and like stutter or get awkward or something. He's funny like that. :))

Kaigen is also an ass. He's a smooth talker when he's in control though. He is a brand new Werewolf and has no control and no idea what the heck he's doing with his wolf. Kaigen might appreciate a little help...if they don't bump heads like he has with everyone else he's met...

Nate and Korbin Kane

Korbin is an angel, a Seraphim. He might overlook Nate being a Werewolf, but that would depend on what he sees in Nate (the whole anima thing) I am not quiiiiite sure how he would need an Investigator, because he has Hazel and he can already pretty much go/see whatever he needs to on his own, but I think they could just meet? I dunno.

Nate and Kohana

Kohana is just an innocent (mostly) child. He knows about the supernatural folks from stories from his Grandpa, but he grew up sheltered. He thinks they are just stories. Well...he has met Lenny, at least, Lenny's human side. He smells wolf on the boy, and he's not sure yet, but he thinks. Right now, he's Lenny's 'pet' I say that loosely...lol. So I think Nate might smell the coyote on Lenny...maybe Kohana follows Lenny one day and they meet Nat...I dunno. As far as Kohana and Nat personally, Nathan might see the younger teen as someone needing some help a place to stay, get him away from Lenny because of who his Father is...I think if we had a player who was Lenny's father already, I don't think the Alpha would appreciate a Walker in his territory. Wolves and Coyote's don't often get along in nature, they certainly wouldn't as people.

Their relationship would also be a coin toss. Nate, for some reason, doesn't really mix well with his kind so it would be interesting to see how they'll get along. They seem to have a few things in common, which good...I hope. Lol.

Hmm...yeah, now I see what you mean. Now I also have no idea how they meet. :))

Nate and Kohana

A Nate, Lenny, and Kohana thread. Lol. I could see that going well or becoming a disaster. It would also probably be funny. With Nate and Kohana, I'm unsure how they'd get along since...well, Nate would probably think his innocence idiotic and find Kohana annoying because of it. I don't know, it will depend on the thread. Yeah, a lot of things depends on how the thread goes. :))
