WELCOME TO ARC CITY

At first glance, Arc may look like an average city. In some ways, the city is more progressive and prosperous than compared to other cities. To the east is the pristine Atlantic, and to the west the dense forests, and fields stretching as far as the eye can see. Most of the citizens live their life as normally as they can. Each keeping to their particular place in society, at times the city seems divided between the rich of the first district and the poor of the second. Although, for the most part, they are just average people living in a metropolitan and trying to survive each day just like everybody else. They don’t see past their rudimentary lives, or perhaps they just choose not to see.

Beneath all the urban glitz and glamour, the City of Arc is a city at war. The city government tries its best to keep to its laws, but one cannot simply quell the bubbling cesspool of crime. The crime families are the true power of the city, their territories divides the city among many different factions.

There are a fair few who try to save the city from dying under its own corruption. A few good and honest men, who try to fight a seemingly losing battle.

But it goes beyond that, beneath the war between law and crime, and beneath the war between the crime families, there is another, even greater and more devastating war. It is the war between the creatures of darkness. Vampires, Werewolves, Witches, Warlocks and every other nightmare that you thought were merely stories, exist. There are no real allegiances in Arc, each faction fights the other and loyalties lay only as far as you can throw them. Vigilantes make their own laws and adhere only to their own rules, while others only look out for themselves.

Some may ask, why this city? That can be answered by the simple truth that Arc is a plain of land that stands suspended between, earth, heaven and hell. The very earth, air and water of the city is ridden with magic and unimaginable power. Hidden underneath the city, lies its namesake – The Arc. Within it is the power to recreate the world as one sees fit, but to access this power one must collect the Keys of Power. Each key is valuable on its own, granting the owner immense power.

As a result, the city is drowned in a dark game of crime, intrigue and politics. Not to mention a supernatural battle of supremacy. There are many factions that combat within the borders of this city. Certain groups may hold unto keys and may stand at the top for now, but they are prey just as they are predators. Their position is far from secure.

These have been our days. They rain upon us beneath a dead sky, crushing us with their fury; until as one we beg…Just let everything end.[/style]
